Benbow Family Christmas part 3

Christmas day is here and santa visited last night!

Look at all this loot in the our stockings!

 Princess barbies oh my!
 Toren got Kristof from Frozen

 And more Thomas trains!

More Thomas trains from uncle Byron and Lena got lots of art supplies.
Of course Lil Lena's favorite thing of the night was an enpty jewlery box from Tiffany's, which Lena filled with her princess jewels.

Benbow Family Christmas part 2

What better way to celebrate Christmas eve than with a traditional swedish smorgasbord! It was delicious and mom did her swedish heritage proud!
The Janson's potatoes were the best they've ever been and the ham was delicious. The meatballs were to die for and the rutabaga mash was perfect.

Lil Lena's loves her some swedish cooking!

 Christmas cookies are a must!

 A kiss for brother.

Benbow Family Christmas part 1

What better way to celebrate Christmas Eve than with cotton candy! Yum, yum!

 We love sugar!

 Sibling love!
Our second gingerbread house. Skill-wise, still not good but much improved.
Listening to Mormor read the Tomten's Christmas Porridge.

Toren's Birthday Party

We celebrated Toren's 2nd birthday party at Shipwrecked playhouse. Mama was a little under the weather but we still managed to pull out a success of a party. Unfortunately only about 8 kids showed up due to holiday travel, but Toren still had fun!

A pirate's life is a life for me!

The ball pit is a favorite!

 Yay, trains!
 Pizza and other yummy stuff!
Lil Lena and her friends causing trouble as always.
 Now that's what I call a cupcake!

Off to see Santa

We braved the trip to the mall to visit Santa. We got to the mall 20 minutes before Santa arrived and we still ended up waiting and hour. Toren was terrified at first but eventually calmed down and by the end he loved Santa.
How much longer do we have to wait....
Thank god for technology. Ipad out, Iphone out...equals to happy and distracted kiddos!
 Santa at last!

Jensen Family Christmas part 3

Christmas Dinner:
This year for christmas, I made christmas ham (the second time in my life making ham) , sweet potato and parsnip mash, mashed potatoes and gravy, brussel sprouts with bacon, and biscuits.
It was delicious and very american (....can't wait for the smorgasbord on the 24th)!
