Vacation Day 3

Today we went to Dollywood! It was perfect weather and no lines! Toren was terrified of almost all the rides and Lena, my date devil loved them all! I lost my lunch on the teacups and papa won us lots of prizes. Afterwards we went to Dicks for a fun dinner!

Vacation Day 2

Day 2 of the vacation we visited the Ripley's Aquarium which was awesome. Then we walked around downtown Gatlinburg which had some wonderful harvest displays and ate at a local eatery for lunch.

Afterwards we went to the mirror maze which Lena loved but Toren was terrified of. For dinner we went to the Dixie stampede which the kids loved ( no cameras allowed). It was a lot like medieval times but about the north vs south. 

Family Vacation Day 1

We started out our vacation in gatlinburg by hitting up the water park! The kids had a blast and the lazy river was quite a hit!

After we finished up at the waterpark we checked into our cabin and then headed to Wonder works! The kids loved this, since its like a hands on science museum for kids.

When we finished up with wonder works we head to hatfields and mccoys for some good ole back country musical dinner theater. We weren't sure how the kids would take to it, but they loved it and had a blast and so did James and I.

Fall is here!

The weather was cool and I welcomed fully with this nice hearty beef soup, homemade biscuits and acorn squash!
