Niabi Zoo

A visit to grandma and grandpa wouldn't be complete without a trip to the local zoo.

Riding the ponies was a favorite.

They loved the caurosel

And feeding the giraffes !

We also saw lots of animals and Lena loved the tigers, cheetahs and jaguars.

Soccer champ

My lil soccer champ showing off her trophy. She did great for her first season, and mama turned out to be a not so bad coach. 

Rock Island Botanical Gardens

While visiting grandma and grandpa Jensen in Iowa we went to the local bontanical garden. It was amazing and the kids had a blast! 

The loved driving the tractor!

They flew kites and actually kept them in the air longer than 5 seconds.

The splash pad was the kids favorite by far!

All in all the kids had a great time there!

Bettendorf Park

Exploring the neighborhood park by grandma and grandpa Jensen house in Iowa.

They loved the giant slide!

Tree...again

I go outside and where should I find my lil girl, but at the top of our pear tree.

Her excuse, "mama, I was trying to the dome pears to eat!"

Some yummy red velvet cupcakes I made and homemade cookies with grad hats.

Dino world

A Dino exhibit came to nashville and Toren loves dinosaurs so we made a day of it.

 The kids love the 42 different giant animatronic dinos.

Mini golf was more dangerous than fun!

Haircut

Lil Lena decide to give Toren a haircut. Mama was  less than pleased by her cutting skills. Poor Toren had to practically get a buzz cut!
